I had suffered from severe headaches for my entire life and had not found any treatment that could offer long term help. I was told I would have to live with what doctors told me were migraine headaches. Finally, a friend suggested I see Dr Duhaime at Kamloops Chiropractic. He was very professional and thorough with his exam, explaining to me my physical issues and how he could help to relieve them. He suggested my headaches were actually from severe muscle tension and not true 'migraines'. After 8 treatments in the period of 1 month the headaches improved and now I am headache free. I happily refer all my friends and family to see Dr. Duhaime.

Dr. Mike Duhaime, BSc, DC

Dr Mike Duhaime grew up in Kamloops, where his family has been living and working for four generations. His first post graduate degree was a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Victoria. He then graduated from the fountainhead school, Palmer College of Chiropractic, in San Jose California with the degree of Doctor of Chiropractic.

Mike has gained valuable experience working overseas as a professional locum doctor for 7 years. He has been a licensed practitioner and worked extensively in 6 different countries; The US, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, England before setting up a practice in Canada. This broad base of experience has better prepared him to serve the community of Kamloops as he brings with him many different techniques and skills to cater to peoples individual needs.

Mike and his wife Kate established Kamloops Chiropractic in 2007. Mike is very happy to be back in his home town where he and Kate look forward to raising their family and enjoying the Kamloops community.

Dr Kate Duhaime, BSc, DC

Dr Kate Duhaime, born and raised in Australia, has been practicing as a family chiropractor for over 12 years. After working in a number of clinics throughout Ireland and England, Kate moved to Kamloops with her husband, Dr Mike Duhaime, and together they set up Kamloops Chiropractic in 2007.

Kate’s practice has a strong focus on musculoskeletal injuries resulting from sports, motor vehicle accidents, work related issues and postural or repetitive stresses. She also helps a lot of people with chronic neck and back pain, pregnancy care and general maintenance care.

Kate uses a variety of treatment styles, ranging from manual adjustments to gentle low force techniques. These techniques, combined with home care advice, rehabilitation stretches and strengthening exercises enable Kate to deliver a high level of personalized care to suit each patient’s individual needs within the community of Kamloops.
